When I moved to Western North Carolina several years ago I finally felt I was home. The friendly people and just the way of life here were things I'd spent a great portion of my life looking for and feel blessed to have found. The stunning mountains, Carolina blue skies and beauty all around still makes me to stop for a moment and take it in. Though I wasn't born here I've spent a lot of time learning about the area from it's rich history to what it means to be in an isothermal belt. (Feel free to ask about that.)
I was raised by a skilled carpenter who took pride in his work and spent many hours on construction sites watching how homes were built. As I got older I developed an interest in watching trends in real estate. I finally realized what a great career choice being a real estate agent would be. As Confucious said “If you enjoy what you do you'll never work another day in your life.”
Prior to real estate I worked in customer service and management. This helped me develop skills in negotiation, time management and attention to detail. It also taught me how to really listen. I enjoy nothing more than helping put a smile on someone's face. I will work tirelessly for my clients to ensure as smooth a process as possible. With buyers I enjoy the challenge of helping find just the right property no matter what they're looking for. Iunderstand the special requirements for keeping horses and other livestock so could be a great asset to those looking for that lifestyle. With sellers I understand the importance of getting top dollar for your property as well as finding the right buyer.
Being a country girl at heart United Country was the obvious choice for me when looking for an agency to work with. The thought of matching buyers with the special place in the country they were looking for was a big part of what drew me to my chosen career and to Country Lanes Real Estate. On top of that the moment I met the Broker In Charge, Annette Stover, I knew she was the one I wanted to learn from.
I live in Bostic, NC with my 2 mini horses, 2 geese, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. When I'm not busy with real estate I enjoy spending time with them as well as hiking, bowling, reading as well as being an avid NFL fan. I'm also a proud supporter of the Pass It On organization.
I am Annette the current owner of United Country/Country Lane’s Real Estate. I have been in Real Estate since 2000 and been working with United family from the beginning. My husband and I had a hard to sell property and after doing what most people do (list their home with several real estate companies) our home still had not sold after 3 years, I then made the move to list with United and the home sold in less then 6 months. Action speaks louder then words with most people and that was the case with US. My passion is My family and work. I work very hard to find my clients that perfect property, then works to get it finalized so that it goes very smooth for both buyer and seller. I am very attentive to people's needs and feelings. "There isn't a better feeling than to sell a home to a newly married couple or a single first time buyer." I so enjoy seeing the look on their face when I tell them the deal is complete and they are now the proud owner of their new home. I say it just doesn't get any better than that! I pride myself in listening to people and understanding from the very first meeting what it is they are looking for, but most importantly what they can afford. I am the proud owner and hopes to build an already thriving business into a bigger and better company. I also enjoy the challenge of listing and selling commercial properties. Some of the properties I like to specialize in, besides residential would be mobile home parks big or small, multi family units not a problem either, maybe a bowling alley or convenience store? They can be found too! Whatever it is you are looking for, I know where to go to find that property.
My Name is Brandi Nanney, I decided to get me real estate License after having the experience of working with Annette Stover when my now husband bought our first home through United Country, Country Lanes Real Estate. I was at the time working for a local Attorney doing title searches for buyers and wanted more interaction with people. I love working with both buyers and sellers so, I left the law firm and went to school to get licensed. I now have the pleasure of listing and selling homes, I found my passion & I do love Real Estate.I am married to a wonderful man and we have our little family, we love our family time together and I now realize how important the right home is to a new family. I hope you will give me a chance to help you with your home purchase or to help you sell a home maybe you have out grown. I look forward to helping you soon.
